Dr. Luvert is a visionary leader, coach, and educator with a deep passion for youth development through sport and academics. A former NCAA Division I soccer player at the University of Washington, he combines elite athletic experience with a background in education, program coordination, and nonprofit leadership.
Dr. Luvert’s professional journey includes roles as a Director of Education for the State of Oregon, Lead Teacher for Multnomah Education School District, and youth soccer coach in Oregon, where he has consistently demonstrated a commitment to growth-minded mentorship and community impact. As the founder of Elite Africa Football Academy, he brings a long-term vision to develop a holistic, world-class soccer and academic institution rooted in Africa.
In addition to launching EAFA, Dr. Luvert holds his U.S. Soccer Grassroots Licenses, D License, and is currently pursuing his C License. He is an advocate for personalized player development, international engagement, and innovative education models that center social-emotional learning (SEL) , character, and creativity. Dr. Luvert studied Sports Business Administration and Economics, has a Master’s degree in Teaching, a Ph.D. in Education, and integrates his academic and athletic insights into every layer of EAFA’s curriculum and strategy.
